Emily Whittington

Emily has the blessing and the curse of being interested in multiple areas. This can be seen in her schooling. First she graduated from Boston University in 2017 where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Film and Television with a concentration in Sociology. Then she left for Paris where she completed an Intensive Professional Program in French Bread Baking at Ferrandi in the 6th arrondisment. In 2021, Emily graduated from Simmons University in Boston with a Masters in Gender and Cultural Studies. Her focus was in Food Studies with her thesis entitled “Gourmetization Smothered in Gravy: How Biscuits Rose Above Cornbread in Southern Baking”. During her free time, you can find her trying a new bakery in town or taking pictures of her cat, Sassy.

Look out the window and see new things.
